More pros than cons, but still.
The indoor heated pool offered a fun escape for my kids, and the staff was attentive, giving useful tips on local transportation.
We faced long check-in waits, and the breakfast options were quite limited with stale cereal.

Fine room, good-sized, with a spacious bathroom. Favourable location near to the boardwalk for the Texas Outlaw challenge, all the bars and restaurants and Kemah and Galveston. Also, near activities we were there for.

All the staff was helpful, fixed my issues. The location was favourable near activities I were there for. I tried some drinks at bar Hubcap Grill, located 15 minutes walk away.

Cozy, Cozy, Cozy
The indoor swimming pool was a total delight! After a long day of exploring, I loved unwinding under the warm atmosphere. Plus, the room was super spacious and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud.

It is close to the Boardwalk.
The mini fridge in our room didn't work. Not a big deal..if I had not bought some milk for the next morning.

We loved the indoor pool and the proximity to the Kemah Boardwalk. It was awesome to unwind at the hotel and then enjoy the vibrant atmosphere at the entertainment complex. Be prepared for a simple breakfast and an average room cleanliness level, but the location makes it worth it.
The only downside was the noise from adjacent rooms, tough to relax at times.

Easy access to the Kemah Boardwalk(about 3 min drive), short distance from Galveston, the beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and smelled good, very large room, continental breakfast was ok, friendly customer service, the water pressure in the shower was awesome.I would stay there again.
The only thing that would have made the Palace Inn better would have been a pool, the ac could have blown a little harder, although the room was still cool (I'm used to cooler temperatures though)
